Dear Mr. Hampton:
I hope you are well. I am writing to be considered for an overseas assignment with Talbot Thinamajig, Inc. Specifically, I am requesting to be assigned to help open a branch of the company in Germany. I chose to study Germany because I was going to pick German as my second language. I am also part German so I wanted to to learn so of my ancestors’ language.
Over the course of the next 7½ weeks, I expect to learn about Germany’s culture, food, business, etiquette and some important phrases in German. Having this knowledge will help understand people in my country.
Lastly, I think I would be a great addition to this team because I am a quick learner and I will a great team player. Because i have played on a team sport . And I knew some Spanish in Spanish class from the first day. I will learn anything you want me to. I will work fast to. My grades reflect on how much of a hardworking person I am.
